A Motorola radio sits on the communications tower to test the Minnesota State radio channel signal between the Minnesota National Guard and Twin Cities local authorities in Minneapolis. The State radio channel tied in all military vehicle radios for direct communication with the State 800 mhz channel, a task which had never before been accomplished and allowed for improved response times. Air National Guard Members from the 148th Fighter Wing Communications Flight prepared secure Remote Communications Platform 3 (RCP3) to the ground at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
