Quest/Sprint PCS is I think is $.10 per text, when you get to $15 the Max charge, after that no more text charges for that month.

I believe Verizon is 5 cents each, both incoming and outgoing, but you can purchase an *almost* unlimited plan for $5.99/month. We have that for my wifes phone, and she has yet to go over her allotment (and she sends/recieves LOTS of text messages). I don't recall the exact number of messages in the plan, but obviously it's quite a bit.

My Verizon plan is 10 cents each both incoming and outgoing. It used to only be 2 cents per incoming, but they raised it. We have 100 messages total for $2.99 or 1000 for $9.99. Interesting that their rates aren't consistent for all of their customers!

Nope, they sure aren't. It all depends on what plans they have at the exact moment you sign up. We never had the 2 cent a minute thing... Another reason why cell companies routinely make the bottom of consumer satisfaction lists.
