Hey again,

Not sure if I was touching on this one in my last oodles of questions...

But... In looking at the SYSTEMS TALK GROUPS area... I see the following:

DEC - Is this another name for TALKGROUP ID?

HEX - What is this? Just another "language / coding" of the ID?

MODE - Some say "D" and some say "E". What does this mean? What's the difference in "D" and "E"? Is "MODE" the same thing as RX MODE?

Display - Kinda self Explanatory

Thanks again!

decimal = uniden display of talkgroups
hex (hexidecimal)= motorola form of displaying talkgroups( various other methods used. If you use your calculator in Windows (scientific) type in the hex number with the hex highlighted, switch to decimal and you shouls see the correlation. Mode D= digital E=encrypted
