TERRE HAUTE, Ind. Police have confirmed that the Modesitt Law Office is on fire. Authorities believe the fire started on the roof.
Fire crews were called to the scene just after 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Police said multiple fire crews have been called to the fire at 321 Ohio St. in Terre Haute.
Police have closed the road near Ohio and Fourth Streets.
According to scanner traffic, the roof and south wall of the office collapsed. Allied Abstract and Title Insurance was also engulfed in flames.
Duke Energy was forced to shut off power to the surrounding area because the heat was putting a strain on the electrical grid.
