Modesto Scanner?

Hi I live in Washington now and I used to live in Modesto, ca for 11 years and loved the scanning there listining to the Modesto Police and fire. Is there a online scanner covering the Modesto area and Stanislaus county. If so write back or email me at eclipsecivic2002@yahoo.com
Anyone from Modesto how is the scanning down there? Are they still on 460 Mhz? are they planning on going to a 800 mhz trunked system?

If not can someone set a live feed up on the internet. That would be great!!

I am in the Sacramento area, about 80 miles from Modesto (and originally from WA state) and Modesto PD is one of the agencies I routinely listen to. Yes they are still on 460 MHz. I can not speak directly regarding any move to 800 MHz, but the few channels they have are as active as ever so they are going to have to do something to grow.

You might try a search on this site (RR) for streaming sites, as there are a lot of sites out there (none I know of personally).

I am not sure where in WA you are, but every time I am up there the scanners never stop talking.

haven't tried it in a while but will plug Modesto into my streaming rig for Los Banos and see what I can get (I am a little distant). I can put Stan SO back up..

Stanislaus is carried by tweekerbob's online scanner feed.

I haven't picked up Modesto, so I don't listen to them, and don't personally know of any scanner feed for them.

Thank you all for the response. Yeah I live in Gig Harbor, wa by Tacoma and I am about 45 miles south of Seattle. Pretty busy.
