Would appreciate if any of you who have the BC75XLT and SR30C scanner can confirm that you can not manually set an AF or NFM modulation when programming your scanner via its keyboard and menus.

I ask because:

1) The programming API for the CIN command does not support what would be and is the modulation field for other scanners and the CIN command
2) The Uniden programs for the BC75XLT and SR30C scanner do not support the programming of the modulation for any given frequency

I've been working with a user of my Scan75 programming and this is how I discovered that it would appear the modulation setting is not possible EXCEPT on the UBC75XLT which I have. At the moment Scan25 tries to set a modulation with the CIN command and BC75XLT does not error but instead just ignores the value.

Seems that the AM and NFM are fixed by whichever Band Plan you set the scanner to and the frequency range.

Thanks in advance.

Apologies for some typo errors in my post above.

To clarify:

If you have either a BC75XLT or a SR30C. AF should be AM. Scan25 should be Scan75.

I'm not too familiar with those models, but you appear to be correct. There is no MOD function on any of the keys.
