Just heard some tests on 149.605 this AM. First time I hear this. Is this unusual?

They were also testing 150.100. Testing mobiles one by one it seems...
This might explain the poor RX on PTAC's repeater as this is the closest thing I found to Ottawa.

149.605 will still have the PL 118.8. for EMS in Ottawa. It's not really all that active of a frequency anymore but from time to time you will still catch the odd transmission on there.

The parks that we've found so far have been using 110.9hz and they're analog.

From what I've observed lately, any parks switching over to VHF-Hi will be using P25.

Low priority and eventual migration in order to be compatible with PSRN and fully digital operations.

EMS was doing some PCOM tests this morning. I wasn't listening to the PCOM frequency though. It was dispatch.
