Last two trips thru the area there seems to be some changes. I got nothing on the dispatch Frequency and dispatches seem to be on Phoenix G2 system, which is fine , except its gone 100% IP to the stations, that would suck. I heard some dispatching on Lake Mohave Ranchos repeaters in the West side, they were faint, but that's how I heard the G2 dispatches. Checked my programming and the PL, both as listed in the database. Anyone have a update? BTW nothing on the tactical channels either, likely most routine traffic has disappeared due to the use of MDTs On my trips to Vegas, Kingman was one of the last "all over the air" systems and cover a big area i drive.

The city (200 callsigns) is the only agency using all of the features with IP to the stations, all the other districts remain the same as is it has been for years. Nothing has changed programming wise for anything else.

This is why I've said the past 12 years that encryption whining makes no difference. They'll just use some cellular type technology instead.

I left my TRX1 scanning 155.055 for 24 hours and ended up with a few thousand recordings and only about a 30 minute break at longest between transmissions. You can hear the phoenix G2 toning out for NAFD regularly. There's not much dense transmission traffic out here on most things anymore unless something happens, so just turning on the radio real quick and hoping to hear a lot of stuff in a short time will usually leave you with a lot of dead air. It's why I mostly just monitor through the Whistlers recording feature almost exclusively the past 2 years, helps condense the time.

That said it's pretty nice, I've been waiting for computer voice dispatch out here forever. Some dispatchers often mumble and speak fast a lot making it annoying to try and hear what the call was.

EDIT: OK I just heard KFD units radio dispatched with the computer voice. Guess fire master wasn't entirely correct.
