Does anyone know how far out of Delaware you can track the Del State pub safety TRS? I was wondering if it would be possible to pick it up in Northern Lancaster county, pa. Its a pretty high elevation. On my scanner I have a rubber stock antenna but its not bad. Just curious if Delaware is a strong signal. How about into New Jersey? Say into camden county. I might try it tomorrow!

Can't speak to Lancaster County or South Jersey, but the signal strength fades once I hit West Chester (though if conditions are right, I can pick it up with about 1-2 bars in my neighborhood - outdoors). Based on that, I highly doubt Delaware can be heard in Camden County. As far as Lancaster County, much less northern LanCo, I seriously doubt it.

Hello,
I can confirm that under normal conditions DE cannot be monitored from Lanco, even with 2 stacked 11dB YAGI's on a 60' tower.

I have trouble from the sports complex and a 6dB mag mount so Camden is doubtful but prove me wrong....

I pick up the system just fine on my XTS 3000 at the G.O. Carlson airport just west of Coatesville.

Thank you all for your information. I think you are right if you said I won't get the TRS in either place. I punched the 400Mhz TRS simulcasts and tried listening from home in Jersey, and I didnt hear anything :( And my guess is the 800 MHz TRS itself is not even as strong as the patches. All well, I'll try anyway and see what I get in PA.
