WS1080: Monitoring one channel

I have tried the manual way of going to Browse Objects. It didn't work. What I want to do is while scanning to have the radio stop on one channel and stay there. Is there a easy way??

When its on the channel you want when scanning hit the pause and play button. And it will stay on the channel

That's correct ... pressing the SEL (play/hold) button while the channel/talkgroup is active sill hold on that cahnnel/talkgroup. If the radio starts scanning before you hit HOLD (but before another talkgroup becomes active), you should also be able to press the LEFT arrow button and return to that talkgroup. Then, you can press SEL and monitor that talkgroup.

You can also step throug/browse objects and when you find your talkgroup of interest, press SEL to hold and monitor that talkgroup.

Thank you for the replies. I do know how to do it that way of waiting. What I am trying to find out is there anyway to do while the radio is scanning to switch to that channel without having to wait for a transmission.

Not "while" scanning but you can stop scanning and go to a channel/talkgroup:

Menu
Browse Objects
left/right arrows to scanlist/system
up/down arrows to select talkgroup/channel
SEL/Hold
