The configuration contains profiles for the Uniden UASD/396T and the Uniden UASD/246T:
99MTAirshows2006 - UASD/396 (UHF/VHF)
MTAirshow2006 - UASD/246 (VHF only)

Extract the *.usd file(s) and put it in your UASD_systems subdirectory.

The file is taken from information presented on the Monitoring Times Airshow article. It is available here:
http://www.monitoringtimes.com/html/mtairshow06.pdf

I started with:
http://www.monitoringtimes.com/html/mtairshowguide2005.pdf

And then _added_ missing frequencies. I didn't remove frequencies that were removed in the 2006 article.

The Group layout is as follows:
Qk Title
1 Blue Angels Air
2 Blue Angels Ground
3 Thunderbirds Air
4 Thunderbirds Ground
5 AirshowCivVHF
6 AirShowMilVHF
7 AirshowMilUHF

Enjoy!

Here is the list of additions:
Blue Angels 255.20
Fat Albert/2 302.10
BA/Aerial Refuel 289.80
BA/Cross Country 237.80
BA/Old 262.85
BA/Tower-Cart 173.825 (Omission from last year)
BA/ComCart 142.6125
BA/ComCart 139.8125
BA/ComCart 141.5625
Heritage/etc 122.475
Heritage/etc 127.15
USCG SAR 282.80
AETC T-6 295.00

Thanks for the recognition. I'm just hoping that folks will be more likely to find frequencies and then report back.

The programs for the Pro-97 cannot read the format of the files I sent. You could go to the URL and d/l the pdf article to enter the information either manually or into the control program.

Please post back what frequencies were used.

You'll want to enable Group Quick Keys 1-2 for Blue Angels.

I had posted this quite a while ago in other lists; this .zip file contains an Excel spreadsheet containing the MT 2006 airshow freqs. You will need an unzipper such as WinZip and Excel - or a program that can read Excel files to read this.

If you have Excel, it's a snap to take the worksheets you want and change them to csv files. These files are compatible with numerous apps, and you can cut and paste from them as well (if you need to go that cumbersome route, as you do with Scancat Lite Plus).

OK ....B52HBUFF , had a problem downloading the ZIP , BUT i finally got it and downloaded the file to my radio , thanks again , i will be assigning blue anels air / and blue angels grnd to quick keys for the show , i am new to downloading files and what not for a scanner , i programmed my 250-D by hand everytime an air show came to town, its so much easier just down loading the file directly to the scanner , i love it , thanks again , and i will report back on anything else i come across , i believe its supposed to rain on sunday , i hope not , last year with the thunder birds on a sunday (rainy sunday) the BIRDS never left the ground , i cant attend saturdays show as i work , and its supposed to rain saturday as well , so i hope this isnt a wash , doesnt look good weather wise , but ill be praying ,. thanks again.

You gonna put together a file for 2007? The 99MTAirshows2006 version was great!!!

Mark

Eventually. The delta between years isn't that big, so last years files should work pretty well.

Actually, there aren't many airshows between Nov 2006 and Feb 2007. I didn't hear of any big changes during last year's airshow season. That certainly doesn't mean changes didn't happen, but it's a safe bet that the Blue Angels/Thunderbirds didn't totally change out their frequencies. Such a large change would have rippled through these boards...

Larry Van Horn is _much_ better plugged in than I am, so I'm sure there are changes to report, but these are going to be in the minority...

I agree, there probably are not many changes. I just saw that the new MT airshow guide was out and was curious.
The file was really useful.

Thanks,
Mark

I didn't realize that some one created an excel list. I was looking at print-outs and PDFs all night!
I spent a few hours before last years air show and loaded up a scanner, and set up a live feed. It was a great success, and I got some good audio on my site from the show.

I'm going to feed it again this year. Thanks again for the hard work!

Thanks for the kind words. I think it's time to update it. ;)

You can start by taking out the headset frequencies. They're not in the 900MHz band.
