I currently have a HP1 I recently realized that I'm no longer receiving Monmouth PD on 155.65500 FMN. I don't know when they changed to 154.76250 NXDN so I wondering if the SDS200 with the NXDN upgrade if I'll be able to receive them again.

Yes, the NXDN update will work for Monmouth. There are also other scanners that will work (BCD996P2, BCD536HP, TRX-2) that will work. The Unidens require the NXDN update, the TRX-2 has it built in.

I can confirm, as of a couple months ago, SDS200 works fine with upgrade

Thanks for your confirmation. It means a lot. I'd hate to see someone spend $800 on a scanner and NXDN upgrade, just to realize the dept/agency they want to listen to is 100% encrypted as well.

Are you saying that even if I got the upgrade Nxdn I still wouldn't be able to listen to Monmouth on 154.76250 because they are 100% encrypted?

No. I'm saying that is always a possibility, but Starcom21 said it worked fine with the SDS200 and NXDN upgrade.

Before anyone takes the plunge to buy a new scanner with upgrades, to follow a dept/agency that has moved, the user should ask around to make sure they didn't go to fulltime encryption as well. I would hate to see anyone in your situation buy the equipment only to find out later that they still couldn't listen to them.
