Monoc's Medevac

One of the guys thats on my fire department and works for Monoc with 821 and 831 sent me a picture of their new medevac tonight.

Interesting...

Are they trying to 'muscle-in' on the NJSP choppers, or is that a backup in case NorthSTAR & SouthSTAR are unavailable?

Its probably a backup for NorthStar and SouthStar because when both are unavailable they would call PennStar which the ETAs are too long atleast for South Jersey, i'm assuming that this Medevac will fly out of Wall Township so the ETAs would be less.

That N number is not valid according to the FAA dara base. Atlantic Healthcare has also
recived there helicopter according to reports.

I talked to the guy tonight and he told me that it will be used as a backup when NorthStar and SouthStar are unavilable,its not in service at this time.unknown if they will use the state trunked system or their own frequency.

Still wonder why the N Nmber is not valid in the FAA Database.

Good luck to them and safe flying ! I am sure they will pop up

on MONOC North and or South - MONOC Air 1 would make a

great call on the radio.

Man, from what I hear they charge and arm and a leg just for medic service, can't imangine what it is going to cost to take a ride in that!!
