Monroe County/MSP

I used to live in LaSalle about five years ago, MSP was dispatched by Sheriff, one of the few counties to do this, is that still the case? Cause Post 28 along with others has their own dispatch TG, and I was just curious. That was when "3 Boy" was my unit. Now they've gone to numbers Thanks

Many counties utilize MSP units on their sheriff freq. Post 28 does NOT have their own dispatch talkgroup, they are on D2South.

I believe they are actually dispatched by Monroe county though. I rarely hear them on D2South other than Checkins.

Correct. That's how many counties handle it, plus a lot of regular traffic is handled via MDT.
