9867 Brick Ridge Court (Box Area 8,5 Montgomery Village area) 2nd Alarm structure fire on MontCo TRS 7C INC 10 and 7D INC 11

1348Hrs - First Dispatched
1405Hrs - Just sounded the evacuated tones. The 3rd floor has been compromised.
1430Hrs - Still attempting an exterior attack with the Blitz line.
1448Hrs - 1 Hour Duration
1500Hrs - Sounded the toness again. Just established a collapse zone for 9869 Brick Ridge
1522Hrs - Fire reportly to be knocked

About $300000.00 damage to the house and about $200000.00 damage to the surrounding house's. These were town houses.
Red Cross took care of the displaced family's.
Cause of fire, un-attended food left cooking. Smoke detectors went off alerting the residents of the fire.
REMEMBER when you change your clocks change the battery's in the smoke detectors. Even electric supplied smoke detectors have battery back ups.
