WB I-70 from Georgetown but also blocked WB from Idaho Springs but CSP is saying it's not "closed".

US-285 Kenosha Pass to Fairplay

US-6 Loveland Pass

CO-83 Franktown to Colo Springs

I-25 over Monument Hill, 1C troopers discussing the need to possibly close the interstate due to zero visability.

Code 18 (chains required for all comm vehicles including single and double axle semis)

= US-285 Morrison west into the foothills. I-70 Mt Vernon Canyon, US-40 Berthoud, I-70 Ike Tunnel both directions and Vail Pass both directions, US-40 Rabbit Ears, US-500 Molas and Red Mtn.

US 36 around Sheridan is being closed now. Sounds like an accident. I heard tow trucks needed escorting from Federal to westbound 36.

Where do you guys hear that they are closing the roads? I've been listening to some CDOT channels on the DTRS and 151.085 and I can't recall them explicitly stating "'so-and-so' road is closed."

I heard it from CSP and my dispatch.
As for 24. Eastbound only is closed from Constitution to Calhan.

151.085, CDOT Channels on DTRS and individual ids for the counties or cities involved are always good and www.cotrip.org is a good rundown but slow to update.

E470 now around Smoky Hill multiple accidents and Aurora saying they would like to close it, can't even access the accidents to check for injuries.

Squad 14 is getting some good use today.

This snow in Evergreen was so dense and heavy that when you cut a path thru already up to two feet, and looked back, you had to decide on going back, or keep going on. It all worked out, with the snowblower and the ATV with a plow. Very deep, wet snow. It was similar to the blizzard a few years ago for about 5 plus hours..Dave
