Ok, so I don't drag the A.A. Fire Repeaters thread down into Howard County, I'll move it to a new one.
Here is some stuff that is in store for Howard County. In the near future, there is going to be some field testing and eventually install (I assume) of vehicle repeaters. I believe they are testing that in the next few days.
Fire Department is in for another reprogramming by the end of the next few months, this was in a groupwise email asking for input on features etc. I don't know if this is in relation to the repeaters, or if it is another try at getting the radios right. I believe that there will be no new talkgroups, or TG re-assignment, just radio option changes and the like.
Also, look for the Board of Education radios and TGs to become active in the next couple months, they are programmed and the TGs active, so once school starts around here, that should pick up too.
I don't know of any news in relation to PD or any other dapartments at this time.
And the only new talkgroup that I have seen in recent weeks is the one I submitted that is the Health Department TG. There are also some strange 17000 talkgroups that pop-up on the system, but I think that is somehow bleedover from Frederick County. It's always a Frederick Co unit, so that is what leads me to that asumption.
As always, I'll keep my data net out in the air trying to catch any loose data that might fly by![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
