Hi all,

I was looking at the Morgan Co info on the database and it lists both conventional, as well as an LTR system (but no talkgroups). Umm....which one is correct, or are they both being used? Or is the "new system" listed?

Their using the new frequences and still using the LTR system. This is the (LCN) order and channel order that seems to work for me. For the LTR system to track it must be in the correct order and in the right channels. I'am not saying this is fully correct, but it does track there fire/police.
CH 000 empty
CH 001 856.2125
CH 002 859.2125
CH 003 857.2125
CH 004 858.2125
CH 005 860.2125
CH 006 851.0625
I have these in bank (0) as 001 and such, but you can use (bank) 101 or 201 for the first channel as long as *01 stays in order. I'am using a RS PRO 2055 scanner. I'am in Berkeley Co. over the mountian, so they are a hit and miss for me.

OK, Thanks Bruce.....I'll plug the LTR and New system into my pro-97 and check it out this weekend. I have aquired a cabin on the ridge above "The Woods" just north of Hedgesville. The cabin is on top of the ridge, so I should not have a problem.

But I am a bit surprised. I live south of Frederick, Md, in Montgomery Co and can hear Jefferson and Berkeley Co's crystal clear on just the telescopic antenna. But not a peep out of Morgan Co with the roof antenna.

I was at the cabin last weekend and heard the CAP without any problems, again, just using my telescopic antenna. And hey, If you know any good trails that I can take my Jeep down, Private Message me. I love to go exploring.
