SDS150: Problem downloading to scanner.

I posted in a separate post about downloading the updates from Sentinel to the SDS 150. I use Butel software and figured I would download my favorites lists w/o the update. I have used this software w/o problem for probably 15 years or longer (pretty much as long as it's been out) w/o problem. When I downloaded to the SDS-150, it no only downloaded my favorite list but the national database as well which I can't seem to undo. Never had this problem with the SDS 100. Since Butel doesn't have a national database I am figuring somehow Sentinel downloaded it. Don't quite know how this occurred.

Also I went to download the NXDN and DMR keys from Uniden and it would not accept the checksum number. Yes I know it's the last 3 characters after the serial number, in this case 07F, but it would give me "check sum error" no matter how much I tried. Thanks in advance.

I don’t see how it’s possible for Butel to update the full database on the pc or the scanner, but I’d say it is possible for Butel to update the scan selection section of the profile to indicate the full database should be scanned. Or at the very least write a profile to scanner that has the option selected to scan full db.

I certainly agree. It would have had to be very recent as I just updated a number of files in my SDS 100 w/o that occurring. I'll double check the software. Very strange. Thanks.

Did a hard reset and re-entered data from Butel....problem solved.....who knows. Thanks for the help.

Also...tried again to enter the serial number, check sum with DMR/NXDN keys.......worked. Maybe the reset did something. Anyway....working now. Thanks.
