Morris County Trunking

Hello,

I am new to a trunking scanner and I am extremely confused. I am in the Morris County area and would like to listen to my local police department which recently switched over to Morris County TRS, however, I am having trouble programming my RadioShack Pro-433 scanner. Can anyone help me with this? I read the manual, but I just don't understand the frequencies and talk group id's. I went to the Morris County Trunking page and I see all these frequencies and id's but I don't know how to use it in my scanner to be able to listen.

the Pro-433 will NOT be able to monitor the Morris County MIRS system due to the fact the Pro-433 is NOT a Digital capable scanner.

It isn't? I thought that the Pro-433 was a trunking scanner which means that it is digital...

Those two situations are not mutually inclusive!

If you want to stick with RS gear, you are going to need either a Pro-96, Pro-2096, or the new Pro-106...
