Morris County Unknown TG

I have been seeing a lot of activity on TGID 830 on the County System, without any voice coming over. Wondering if anybody has any information on this TG, may be an encrypted channel.

830 has been around for a long time, and yes it is fully encrypted.

Note that every encrypted talkgroup on the Morris County system ends with an E when looking at the HEX value of the talkgroup IDs. It's a clear pattern that they've been using since day one.

There are at least four secure talkgroups that are active on the system, but have not been identified, and therefore aren't in the database.

286 LE SECURE 2
(Mun PD users)

782 CG SECURE 1
798 CG SECURE 2
(County Gov, non LE)

814 I show as ENC but don’t have an alpha for it. I think it may be OEM or HAZMAT

830 CGLE SECURE 1
846 CGLE SECURE 2
(County LE such as Prosecutor, Sheriff and OEM)

1294 EMS SECURE
