Are you guys following the motorcade traffic? I have been using both Site 9 and Site 6.

Here are some TG's to follow:

State Traffic One --- Primary motorcade
Troop H --- Clearing Interstate
Troop W --- As it becomes in more use

Jacob, just a suggestion for the future, but posting specific details,as they are happening, turn by turn about something as critical like a presidential motorcade, is not a good idea. I don't believe in complete sensorship , but there are some details that should not be published, don't benefit anyone and could pose a threat. Just a suggestion!

good point manny,and we dot need to give any more reason for these people to encrypt their radios which i am actually suprised this was not encrypted,,state police have the ability to do it

I would advise you NOT to do this as you might get a visit from the United States Secret Service agent knocking on your front door with a black unmarked car parked out front of your home. The Secret Service does check out all of these matters when it releates to The President of The United States of America. Some things we just do not post becuase of security.

The United States Secret Service does investigate all security maters involving the President.This does involve giving out details of his motorcade.We have had people in the past that have done this and they have got a visit from the Secret Service. It is better NOT to post this infomation. This is the reason why the Secret Service and other agencies are going full time encryption mode. Encryption mode is a more secure mode and no one out in "Scanner land" can hear it.

it does not really need to be posted because anyone listening will hear it on the scanner,i would not take that chance posting the route of the president,i dont want the MEN IN BLACK coming to my house.

Oh my God, the secret service is coming!!! How is this any different than all of the news agencies/traffic reporters who report real time when the roads close? Or when they report the morning of the visit the roads that will be closed so that people can take an alternate route - which they would much prefer you do. If it was such a secret - then how is just about every route I have seen lined with people who just wanted to see the President's suburban? Just sayin.....

Thank You firerick100, and mlmummert fro your post. I agree with both of you. This is the same case if a DEA drug bust was going down in your local area. Would you post the location of where DEA was.(NO). If the FBI was doing a stake out would you post the location?(NO) There are matters where you need to think before posting it. Posting this infomation could put the people or agents involved in a un safe position. The Secret Service does monitor a lot of communications including newspapers, etc in a local area before The President makes a visit to a local city, town. They also work with local LEO'S in the area to make sure The President is safe. This is a hobby and we need to respect that.That also includes thinking before making a post that inlcudes a location of streets, a route of travel from point a to point b. We have enough problems in our county today. We need to make sure we do not add to the problem.

Well, I don't need you to let me know what I need to post. The motorcade was not an undercover operation like I already said. I'm not going to continue to argue with you any longer on this.
