K1200LT BMW, full hands free operation on a Yaesu FTM-10, designed for the job. Previous installations include a VXR-7 submersible hand held and a Yaesu Ft-7900 which is not waterproof. Aerial is a dual band 5/8 on 2m which sits on a modified factory CB aerial mounting bracket.
The radio feeds into a Starcom 1 intercom unit, together with the broadcast band radio.

This is how my car radio is set up. Yaesu FT-8900 dual bander with the main unit in a cubby hole under the boot floor. There is a boom microphone fixed to the header rail and the PTT uses a redundant "overdrive" button in the gear stick.

Hey, the steering wheel is on the wrong side! 😆

Seriously though, nice install! Took me a second to even see the control head, it blends in that well.

You've piqued my interest but more so with the car. May ask ask what it is? It looks like a much older but very well cared for vehicle.

Well, I wouldn't have guessed right on the manufacturer but I was pretty close on the manufacturing time/era. Nice looking ride.
