Motorola Astro consolette

Is anyone familar with the 800mhz trunking version of the motorola spectra/astro consolette? If so, How do you add Talk groups to the scan list? Thanks!

If the radio is User Selectible, you hold scan button down for a second or two. Then the arrow underneath your programed scan button should start to blink. Then you scroll through the talkgroups or and push the SEL but to add a specific talkgroup or freq and DEL to delete one.

When you select one, it will show NPRI with one push, and PRI 1(PRI Blinking) is three pushes and PRI 2(PRI on Constant) is two pushes, if they are not FIXED to a specific talkgroup.
PRI blinking is PRI 1 and PRI on constant means PRI 2.

After you are done, press home and you are done.

But If it is not user selectible, you can not add any.

Just a note: if user programmable scan lists are not enabled then you can still change then you just have to read the radio with either its RSS or CPS.

Also, there is a maximum of 10 entries in a mixed trunk/conventional or trunked scan list. The max for conventional only is 15.
