I was wondering if anyone could fill me in on some information. I have a Motorola GTX Mobile Radio, and I do not know the frequency range. I have heard that you can tell by the serial #, does that sound rite?. If so, does motorola have a web site that i can type the serial # into and it woukd tell me? or do is there some other way to find out. Any info would help a lot Thanks.

Go to http://www.batlabs.com/
Click on " Model Specific Information " at the top.
Under " Mobile Radios " Click on GTX
At the top of that page is the model number info which can be found on the GTX mobile along with the serial number. The model number is what you use to determin what band its on. They only made GTX mobile and portable radios in 800 & 900 Mhz band models per the chart.
