What is the NAC that Motorola uses that will decode ALL P25 systems?
Umm… no it isn’t.NAC 293 is basically the same thing as carrier squelch. That's what you want, but if they're encrypted then you're done.
You are watching too much MSNBC, F7E is carrier, 293 is the default NACNAC 293 is basically the same thing as carrier squelch. That's what you want, but if they're encrypted then you're done.

That is not what the OP askedNAC means Network Access Code which is used on conventional P25 Astro Digital channels like PL/DPL is used for analog channels. The CPS default NAC is 293. For my Astro Digital channels, I just stay with default 293 for both transmit and receive settings.
I know that so, what's your point? That is not what the OP asked
Motorola doesn't use a specific NAC to decode all P25 systems. All P25 subscribers that are standards compliant can use F7E as the digital equivalent to CSQ.What is the NAC that Motorola uses that will decode ALL P25 systems?
Lmao. You didn't actually answer the OP question, you wrote a word salad that wasn't even on topic. Nobody cares how you program your radios.I know that so, what's your point?
If the repeater channel requires 67.0, then yes and one does. And there are some simplex channels that I have to use, not of my own, uses 67.0. As for my Repeater channel, I use a DPL. Also, what difference does it make to you or anyone else what PL or DPL is used. You can either program it accordingly or not use it at all.Lmao. You didn't actually answer the OP question, you wrote a word salad that wasn't even on topic. Nobody cares how you program your radios.
Do you use 67.0Hz for all your analogue channels?
You must be new here.Or we could actually answer the question that was asked.
I've been thinking about that. I prefer hamburger buns with seeds as opposed to ones without seeds. You must be new here.
Thank you
Umm… no it isn’t.
Because the OP deleted it. That's why I always quote when replying.Did I miss something? Why am I not seeing that post you quoted?
It was a rhetorical question. If the repeater channel requires 67.0, then yes and one does. And there are some simplex channels that I have to use, not of my own, uses 67.0. As for my Repeater channel, I use a DPL.
It doesn't. It's about your word salad of words, that didn't even address the OP's ACTUAL question. It should have been a single sentence like:Also, what difference does it make to you or anyone else what PL or DPL is used.
🙄You can either program it accordingly or not use it at all.
