Does anyone know anything about the mototrbo system being used in someareas like around airdre?Will it be monitorable like p25?

With a mototrbo radio it is. There isn't a scanner on the market that currently supports mototrbo.

I'm not sure we need another MotoTRO thread but Jay911 started a really good one under http://forums.radioreference.com/prairies-pacific-coast/101655-mototrbo-similar-systems-alberta.htm. Hum, tried the link but didn't work. It can be found on page 3 of the Prairies thread with heading " MotoTRBO and similar systems in Alberta". I believe there is reference to software to decode this system as well, provided it is not encrypted.
