Never had an issue with a 436HP, two 536HPs or an SDS100. Ensure once you get the desired programming written to the scanner, you READ FROM SCANNER, make any necessary changes in Sentinel then WRITE TO SCANNER.

More detailed specifics about what exactly happened would be helpful. Had you just performed a database update before noting this behavior? Normally, FL's and the frequencies contained within are not affected by database changes unless you initiate the change.

its not doing it when i update the database... it seems to be random events. I can go into sentinal and find channels moved from one fl to another or have two or three of the same channels on diferent lists.... the ones it seems to be hapening with most are my texas dps freqs and my GATRRS list

As cheap as SD cards are, I'd take Jon W's advice and get a couple more cards.
Bad cards have been known to cause some very odd issues.

As to the question about the TRX-2, that should not have anything to do with your Sentinel problem.

What is this "sdr program" you mentioned for the TRX-2? I've never heard of such a program for a Whistler model like the TRX models. They use a version of what used to be called EZ-Scan in the GRE days. Whistler's programming software is named based on the scanners model for the programming software name. Their TRX-2 software is called "Whistler TRX-2 Base/Mobile Digital Scanner Programming System".
It would not change anything in Sentinel either.

It is the ez-scan that I use for the trx 2... a bad card would cause this issue on my laptop even if I'm not connected to the scanner?

Without a direct connection between the scanner and computer, the state of the SD card would have no effect on the computer. If your troubles are only occurring in Sentinel, and you have made no changes within Sentinel, and you have not connected and downloaded from your scanner, then it's possible that your Sentinel file in your computer has been corrupted somehow. You can download your 436 into a fresh new Sentinel file and see if the original problem reoccurs.
