From procom, this the vhf table

CHHIGH 12287
OFFSET 8192
STEP 2.5
LOGGED TALK GROUPS OF 00007 SNOWPLOWS and radio tech's West of Laramie, 06175 plows out of Pinebluffs.
They are probably just testing it. We will see what the final talk groups will be

can the chyanne system be tracked with a 396 its a Motorola Type II Smartnet

I have standard or splinter on the 396 any ideas?

A quick question: Which tower did you get this data from? I am wondering if they using just one tower or if they were linked together, which would mean the master controller might finally be running. Anyway, kudos for catching a talkgroup. I bought a 96 to monitor Wyolink 2 years ago and had given up on hearing anything on it.

It looks like it is linking all the towers. I listed to the Beacon Hill, Cheyenne South .
If we get the snow storm that they are calling for it should get busy.
System Id 1A4, WACN BEE00, off the Beacon Hill Site, using PROM96 program.

If your using PROCOM to monitor the CC on this system it means it is a Project 25 Standard system, not a motorola type II.

seamusg is correct, with it like that system id 1A4 (420 DEC) wacn bee00,
that would make it a apco p-25 all digital system,to bad i am 450 miles north east of there,
((((((that means that you can use "unitrunker" on that system)))))
use the 5th beta and it should work like a charm,hint hint,

that is true, i just use unitrunker so i do not have to switch programs,
if they bring a p-25 system my way i might consider detacating a computer to pro96com,

OK... What is the "Base Freq" or does one just accept the default of 136.00000 that one gets when using the "Extended Trunking Tables"? Also... "Step=" 2.5? 2.5 What? In the "Extended Trunking Tables" the only thing I can get it to take is 25.000. Or am I completely blowing it and should be using one of the other options?

Now all I have to do is hope that things finally melt down and I can get out back and get my antenna re-oriented. The wind gust during the last couple storms twisted it 180° off aim and the 6'+ high X 14' wide drift at the base makes getting a ladder up just a tad bit hard to accomplish right now. {WAN GRIN!}
