OP25 Multichannel in OP25

Pardon me if this sounds dumb, but Im not all up to date with the terminology. So I got OP25 running on my RBPI with a RTLSDR3 all fine and dandy. The big question I have is does it monitor multiple channels and broadcast them at once? Like if PD is talking on their channel and a fire dispatch goes out on another, will it pick them both up at once or does it function off of a talkgroup priority set up? My end goal is try to stream the audio feeds to OpenMhz.com . I tried to google this up but Im pretty sure not knowing the right terminology is acting as a barrier for me lol

Well it all depends how you configure op25 and what type or how many sdr receivers you have

i. The rx.py app (which is what most people use when they run op25) can only handle a single voice stream at a time and only requires a single rtl dongle to operate fully. It monitors an entire P25 system and can make priority decisions between traffic on different TGIDs, but ultimately only one can be played at any given time.

ii. The newer multi_rx.py app has the ability to perform trunking on P25, Motorola Smartnet and Moto TRBO Connect+. It can also support monitoring of multiple simultaneous P25 systems and concurrent voice decode if you want to provide multiple streams to broadcastify or elsewhere.
