Looks good. Very nice assortment of equipment you have there.

And every shack should have a "Shack Cat." :D

Thanks! I just reorganized it and it still looks like a mess but cleaner than it was. It is always changing, so I figured I'd capture one instance of it...

Is that a Icom D-star handheld for D-star ham radio communications???

Yes, that is my Icom IC-92AD D-STAR HT, along with: an Icom IC-V82, Icom IC-2AT, Yaesu VX-5R, Motorola HT-1250 (UHF), Radio Shack Pro-106, Radio Shack Pro-92.

The desktop units are, Yaesu FT-450, an LDG Z-100Plus Auto Tuner, Heathkit HF Manual Tuner, Alinco DR-605, Heathkit HW-2036A and matching HWA-2036-3 power supply, Drake Desktop Speaker, Radio Shack HTX-10 (10 meters),

Several power supplies and various test equipment. Hoping to add some other test equipment soon such as an oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, and a watt meter. I do a lot of equipment testing and basic repair up on that glass desk and table so I get good use out of this stuff.

Is that cat real? Nice Shack!

Sometimes I think she isn't real, then I get a wake bite or scratch :) Thanks.

Where can I get one of those United States Frequency Allocation posters?

Here you go... NTIA Office of Spectrum Management
I think the PDF was created as a vectored document meaning you can print it to just about any size. If I remember correctly, mine is an ARCH E (36"x48") which makes the smaller parts of the chart readable. As far as I know, you'll have to get it printed your self but being a freely available public document, if you need kinkos or someone like that to do it, there should be no copyright violation.

WOW!! Kitty even approves:D amazing station!
HA! Yeah, she approves until I ignore her for too long messing with equipment... thanks.

Thank you very much! Is that the latest one they have since 2003?

Yes, as far as I know, that is the only chart of its kind and appears to be the latest edition. Looking over it though, nothing has really changed since it was created since the spectrum specified are pretty generic/general.

Heathkit

I wish Heathkit was still in business. I would like to build much of my gear if I could. I still have some Heathkit equipment going strong after 36 years.

Oh man, that would be nice and that tuner has given me some trouble on that center inductor roller. I need to just take it apart and retighten everything to get it going it again, other than that, it's a nice piece to have and plan on using it with a future HF rig (something a little older to warm the skies with).

In the second picture what kind of antenna is that

homebrew copper J-Pole

the mast structure was built out of surplus fiberglass poles (making up the legs of the tripod) and aluminum poles for the center mast. Plan to push that higher when it gets warmer and guy it at the top
