My "Man Cave"

Hi all,

Just moved into my new home and set up some radios in the garage. I have more to go but will get those going soon. "Other half" says I need to spend some time working IN the house and not the "Man Cave"...LOL

Nothing special just some basic equipment. I just put a new counter top on the workbench and some shelves. Looking forward to getting pics of my antenna setup also. Just a homebrew 5/8 wave sleeve antenna on a 20' mast anchored to the garage.

Kind of off topic, but, is that a Cairns 1010 Helmet on the wall?

Yup, its a 1010. In my opinion, the greatest Fire helmet I have ever worn...lol It had seen 8.5 years of service and had to be retired due to it cracking and heat damage.

Thanks for the comments on the setup. After looking at the pics myself I really need to tie up the wires in the back.

How many watts is the amp? And which radio is the amp used for?

The amp is 45w out and I am actually trying to sell it. Its for 144-148mhz 2 meter. I am not currently using it. Just included it in the pic until it goes..Hopefully.

If I would have stayed on the VFD I was on, I was considering getting one.
