Do you have external speakers for the radios that are out of view? I'd think that the radios would be hard to hear. I do like the wood-working touch.

No external speakers at the moment, the cb is a little hard to hear when the truck is running but the scanners speaker has plenty of power, I may end up running some speakers behind the seat.

20 watts ? How did you manage to do that ??
The difference between 12 watts and 20 is literally none, other than reduce the life span of the final transistors. 73, n9zas

Nice truck, and console for the radios. I tuck mine inside the console of my older rig, then have two speakers under the dash. It is nice to have metal dashboards, holds heavy speakers and radios tight and secure.

Its a 4 watt am radio... Not 12...
At first glance I thought it was a cobra ssb Not that it matters, but same result. The difference between 4 watts and 20 is zilch. 73, n9zas
