NAC codes are used in P25 systems. Color codes are used in DMR/TRBO systems. Two completely different things so that unfortunately would be a no.

No, P25 Phase II uses "color codes"; the value is identical to the Phase I NAC in use by a site.
I have never seen a color code on p25 system that's only for DMR. Whether phase 1 or phase 2 P25 uses a NAC Code for trunking and since there is no conventional phase 2 the only need for a NAC on phase 2 systems is on trunking systems which most definitely use a NAC. Just because its TDMA doesn't mean it uses a color code.

No, slicerwizard is correct P25 Phase II uses color codes. Not applicable to any scanner as far as programming that I’ve seen, but color codes are definitely used as far as Phase II system side is concerned.

Per the P25 spec Phase 2 uses color codes; which are effectively the same as a Phase 1 NAC.
