Can you explain further. The title of your post is talking about ARC500, and in the body of your post you’re asking about your Home Patrol. The two are not compatible.

Have no experience with a Home Patrol scanner, but the Nascar frequencies are all conventional simplex analog frequencies. If there is a way to load conventional frequencies, that would be it. Go to Speedway Digest, they usually have the frequencies. Now the bad news, unless you are At the track it is very unlikely you will hear anything. When camping at the Nascar races here in Texas, I rarely get a signal from the cars on the track to the campgrounds.

ARC500 doesn't work with the home patrol scanners. It only works with some Whistler scanners or some older GRE and Radio Shack scanners.

Is this for At the track?. Unless your physically at the track, grandstands or adjacent camping or parking. You will hear nothing. The two nascar repeaters(461.200 464.600) and if the media are using a repeater you may hear them a few miles away(iffy) Same with any track facility repeater at Phoenix.

Often the frequencies used change from year to year, and as drivers change cars/garages etc. They are updated in this forum each year. You may need to check those posts and enter them manually.

Far less often than they use to.

If the frequencies are not in the database, manual entry is your best choice. You could also use the scan feature and set a lower frequency and an upper frequency limit. The last method would also find unlisted changes that a team may have made.
