Having issue picking up digital audio on my pro 96/2096. It did work at one point in April, but I mostly use my 396. Turned on both radios last week and all I can pick up is the analog groups. The screen will show a hit on a digital group but it is only for a moment and then it goes into scan mode. I have reprogrammed radios and getting same results. Anyone out there listening to the Nashua System with the PRO96/2096 and having same issue?

Thanks in advance for any feedback

I think you need rebanding tables on 96/2096.

I may be having the same issue but with a PSR-500

I'm still pretty new to this, and initially just did an import from the RR database into my PSR-500 which worked fine until recently for Nashua.

Could anyone give me some info on how to reprogram this? I have the ARC500 software for my GRE.

Thanks for any help,
Larry

Larry,
In ARC500 click Trunk System. On Nashua line double click under Edit T-Tables. In popup click Load Reband Tables bar. Click OK and Yes to Set T-Tables to Custom.
Then double click under frequencies to recheck all four controlers are 853.4500 and under.

Thanks for the reply,

I had done that previously, but I'm now thinking I may need to update the frequencies. The ones I had (viewable when double-clicking frequencies in TSYS) were different from 3 others that I just read on another RR forum post talking about new control channel freqs. Should I change them manually in ARC500? Also, aren't there more frequencies normally than just 3 or 4? I was under the impression this system (City of Nashua, NH) had 9 or 10.

You may change them manually (reduce each by 15MHz or better yet, in ARC on double click under frequencies select reband Calculator under Options menu. Maintain 869 and 866 shift 15 then OK. Should now be same as in DB page.
Save--Load to scanner.

BTW, Welcome to RR.

Looks like (better yet, sounds like) I'm all set now. For some reason I didn't have any of the current control channel frequencies, and after I added them manually I went back to the RR import application in ARC and noticed that the box for "import all control channels" was not selected. Not sure how/when that happened but was why I was missing the newest and most important 3 frequencies.

Thanks for all the guidance on this.

Were you able to get your pro96 working again with Nashua? Can you pick up Hudson Fire as well? I can only get Nashua if I set to FM but can't get anything with talk groups. Also Hudson Fire I can only pick up Dispatch. Thanks for your help!

I ended up Deleting everything then reprograming from PC and worked. As for Hudson FD they run in dual modes. Analog/P25 Digital and Simplex. So you need to have radio set to rx both modes
