I have been doing a little analysis and monitoring to figure out the talkgroup assignments. Some of my estimates of channel designations have proven to be correct, so I think I am on the right track. Maybe some other people could monitor and help confirm.

My suspicion is that:

B8 is 10096
B9 is 10288
C7 is 10640
C8 is 10608

Based on the math when looking at the difference between C1 and B1, C2 and B2, etc., but I have not heard any traffic on the above talkgroups. The same math has proven to be correct on C13, D3, D4, I1, J1

I am very confident of the following:

C11 is 10832
C12 is 10864 Coliseum Command (several events confirmed)
C13 is 10896 (on-air confirmation of channel-as was predicted) "C-TAC"
C14 is 10928
C15 is 10960 "N-TAC"
C16 is 10992 "S-TAC"

I1 is 11568 Classified* Heavy Encryption (on-air confirmation of channel)
J1 is 11056 (I think)

I am somewhat confident of the following especially the usage:

D3 is 45008 "S-TALK" (on-air confirmation of channel)
D4 is 45040 "C-TALK" (on-air confirmation of channel)
D11 is 45136 "H-TALK"
D13 is 45200 "C-TALK2"
D14 is 45232 "W-TALK"
D15 is 45264 "E-TALK"
E1 is 45360 "N-TALK"
E2 is 45328 "S-TALK2"

Where S is South, C is Central, etc. I call these "TALK" channels because that is basically what is going on...chit chat. The impresion that I get is that each zone: 10s, 20s, and 30s in each of the sectors has a "talk" channel. Similarly I have on my display S-C2C for C3, and S-TAC for C16, because that is the nature of the transmissions.

And I am certain that 40016 is Animal Control on System B.

Trying to figure out the set-up is more fun than actually listening to what is going on :)

I don't know if everyone knows this or not, but "All-Airs" emergency messages are also broadcast on B7. Since B7 is used very little it is a good place to monitor if you don't want to listen to all of the routine traffic on county-wide. And speaking of "All-Airs", the new alert signal is a little rough on the ears.

B7 Is technically the traffic channel and all major event traffic control is conducted on B7 so the alert goes there to alert maybe any special detail officers that might be close to say the robbery or whatever it is. The alert tone is, to say the least, different.
