I'd like to know more about UHF am comms by Navy vessels. (as opposed to air/ground comms)

I seem to recall that 385.0 might be like a calling or safety channel, and there was a 277.1 or 277.3.

I think that SESEF/degaussing facilities may also have UHF-am freqs.

I'd be curious to see what folks are finding.

Navy UHF

277.8 was/is the UHF freq guarded by all Navy Ships (CG when in their vicinity) I still hear tfc on that when using the BayBridge/Tunnel overunder the Chesapeake.

I have snagged all sorts of interesting UHF AM Navy stuff including an off shore exercise with a female participant and it turned into what sounded like a dating game between the several male voices and the female. Another snag I could not figure out were some guys on a rubber boat of some kind whispering about how they were going to approach their target underwater to get "something" without being detected.
