160.950 Norfolk Southern Ch1
160.275 Norfolk Southern Ch2 (Dispatcher to Train)
160.830 Norfolk Southern Ch2 (Train to Dispatcher)

That'll get you started for your area. Let me know if you need further assistance. You can also log on to www.railroadradio.net and look for the NS Statesville NC scanner stream if you'd like to hear a little further (CSX, NS "S" Line, Alexander RR, Yadkin Valley RR).

ironhorse1, i m in tifton,ga and those are the freqs i use to listen to ns and i think 160.950 is georgia southern branch.

160.950 is NS Channel 1 on all EX-Southern Railway lines. So yes, you're probably correct. It's a widely used freq.
