Greetings,

Last Saturday morning there was a moderate bump in local tropo conditions to the Rutherfordton area, at least from the west / south. Normal Greenville, Spartanburg, Asheville, etc. signals were somewhat stronger than daily normal levels. The SDS100 with stock antenna was set up to search 453-455 MHz.

Some of the data received (no audio available):

453.825: DMR with CC 2, and a CON with CC 10. RR DB shows Bi-Lo Center Parking in Greenville SC, but not as DMR (FCC license does list DMR). Same goes for Yancey Co EMS (DMR on FCC license, but no RR DB info).

453.075: DMR with CC 1, TG's 11 and 578 and a UID 1050. Best guess is Simpsonville, SC FD as DMR is shown on FCC license (but not in RR DB).

453.275: DMR with CC's 1 and 14. TG 21 and UID's 1019, 2012, 2014, 2027 and 2040. Best guess is Fountain Inn, SC PD as data matches RR DB.

453.7875: Mainly CAP with CC 7 and a few hits with CC 8; also CON with CC 11. Haywood Co NC and Clinton, SC best guesses but no supporting data from the RR DB.

453.025 with PL of 118.8: Aiken Co FD is the only match in NC/SC.

Would appreciate any corrections / suggestions, TIA.

My comments below from Upstate SC -

453.825: DMR with CC 2, and a CON with CC 10. RR DB shows Bi-Lo Center Parking in Greenville SC, but not as DMR (FCC license does list DMR). Same goes for Yancey Co EMS (DMR on FCC license, but no RR DB info).

I don't have any records of DMR use on this frequency from my location.

453.075: DMR with CC 1, TG's 11 and 578 and a UID 1050. Best guess is Simpsonville, SC FD as DMR is shown on FCC license (but not in RR DB).

Yes, this is Simpsonville PD on TG 11.

453.275: DMR with CC's 1 and 14. TG 21 and UID's 1019, 2012, 2014, 2027 and 2040. Best guess is Fountain Inn, SC PD as data matches RR DB.

Yes, Fountain Inn PD on TG 21 Slot 2. Also TG 20 on Slot 1. Not sure about CC 14.

453.7875: Mainly CAP with CC 7 and a few hits with CC 8; also CON with CC 11. Haywood Co NC and Clinton, SC best guesses but no supporting data from the RR DB.

I have also heard Cap+ CC7 and have it tentatively ID'd as Clinton SC DPW, but I haven't confirmed that.

453.025 with PL of 118.8: Aiken Co FD is the only match in NC/SC.

I think Aiken Co FD is the correct ID on this. Aiken uses quite a few other UHF repeaters.

Zap: Thanks for the suggestion. Yeah, it was a toss-up. RX is in NC as are some of the unID's, and figured/hoped SC checkers would also check the NC forum.

Brian: Thanks for the comments/confirmations. I have some other Upstate questions which I'll post in the SC forum later.

I can tell you that there is only one Cap+ system in Haywood and its 800/900. There isn't any other Cap+ systems there.

TS: Thanks for the additional info. Looks like a road trip may be in order to pin down some of the others.
