Does anyone have a current list of the North Carolina Highway Patrol codes and signals? I have got what I could get off the Internet. But some codes and signals are missing. I am in Greenville, North Carolina, and monitor Pitt County. A lot of the agencies seem to use the North Carolina Highway Patrol codes. Although there are some variations with different towns and cities sometimes. Any help would be appreciated

The link works and the codes are posted. 75 percent, or maybe a little more are right. Some of the codes are wrong, and some codes and signals are missing. I listen to Greenville PD and Pitt County Sheriff Department which I believe uses the same codes as the NCHP. Sometimes you can figure out what the Code or signal is, but sometimes you just can't. If anybody has an update of this list or more detailed information I wanted really appreciate it.

That list is for SHP codes only. There are some similarities but most departments use different 10 codes and signal codes.

Add in it is pretty darn current because it lists "Signal 30" which they did not start doing until the last few years.
And Trumpetman is correct in that each area has their own version of codes/signals.
Here in Central NC alone:
--SHP uses the codes/signals listed above.
--Durham PD/Durham Sheriff uses a version of 10 codes/signals that match up with SHPs codes/signals in a lot of cases but Durham's has some differences.
--Wake County Sheriff has its own version of codes and signals.
--Raleigh PD has a version similar to Wake Sheriff but also different in places.
Folks should go under the assumption that codes/signals will be unique for each county/city/area and be happy when there are similarities to existing sets.

And in Greensboro / Guilford County, they're even more different. But back to SHP, I saw signal 31 as well so I know that list is accurate.
