The area of Bustleton Avenue and Haldeman avenue has been shut down just before 1 this afternoon for a building fire. At 5:30 PM roads reported still shut down but fire had been under control. Fire went to four alarms, before fire crews were ordered to evacuate.
Also at least 4 Medic units on scene. Minor possibly transported to Frankford-Torresdale Hospital. Also a Motor vehicle Crash near the scene on Bustleton Avenue between a car and a Rescue unit. Unsure of injuries or severity of the crash.
Coming into Philly from the NE saw a ladder fire truck and police car headed in the opposite direction (I guess this was just past Woodhaven Rd exit). Could they have been headed to the scene?
