It's 8:13 P.M. Just read your post. Turned on my 396 and Troop A is alive and (very) well.

Perhaps there was an outage earlier. Can you elaborate, i.e., time, duration, etc.?

I do not get any thing on troop A at all i down loaded to the scanner from RR all 10 Frequencies i have a pro 2055 i even tried putting them in a different bank all alone and they still don't work

Where are you located? You may be too far away to receive Troop A.

Did you have the scanner in trunking program mode when you entered the frequencies. If they were programmed as conventential the scanner will not track the system. Sounds like your problem. Even if you entered them as conventential you should have heard the control channel. If you can't hear the control channel the radio won't be able to track the system. Most of the State police comms from trroop A are simulcast on the troop C system so if need be enter the that one. You should have no problems receiving Troop C from your location.

If you can't receive the control channel then you can't listen to the system. Troop C covers Toms River.

Try to see which system control channel you can receive and enter that system. Like mentioned already Toms River is covered by troop C so you might just hear that one better.

Parkway Troop E Bass River Station covers that area of the Parkway. Although they are assigned to the South System, you can pick them up on the Troop C System also, Talk Group 26960.
