Hello,

I use a BCD436HP scanner, which with the stock antenna gets decent reception at home, but not really in my car. It's a lease, so I'm pretty set on NMO trunk lip mounts (already own one Laird mount).

I monitor 400-480 and 770-870. The one VHF system I listen to is about to be dismantled, so I don't really care about it.

I haven't read much good about the multi-band antennas, plus I want something as discreet as possible (ideally nothing over 10 inches tall). I can source very good, very small antennas but they'd do only one of those bands at a time. Also, it doesn't seem like coupling antennas is a good idea, from what I've read.

So what are my options? Open to pretty much anything that fits those requirements.
