And i’m back. The state police is coming through perfectly, but Merrimack county is coming in garbled and some parts cut out. How can I fix that?

I'm not sure if that's a Simulcast system. If it is, that's known as Simulcast Distortion. (Google id your friend. Lots of information on this site about that.

You may have better results if you get closer to the transmitter.

Audio type is analog. Select 94.8 tone. Mod is NFM. Frequency 155.9625.

Try an 88.5 Hz tone on 155.010 for NLPD.

For the 3 digital Merrimack Co frequencies, try changing Mod to FM instead of NFM. Some people have had luck doing that.

Thanks, that seems to working. The problem is that the background noise is louder than the noise of the dispatchers and officers speaking so it is hard to hear, even with headphones on. Any suggestions?
