I did take it seriously. You have no idea what has been done behind the scenes. That said, you are the one who is trying to stifle conversation by saying "enough already" and talking about "measuring contests". You are a self-avowed Scanner Enthusiast and Emergency Services Buff. Based on what I publicly know about you, I would take the opinions of the professionals who have posted over your repeated posts. Your initial post in the thread carried your contribution. Your next post was to complain about the thread going downhill. Sometimes you just have to ignore the posts you don't like and move on.
I understand that. I will take my signature down as people, including you, seem confused about it. And I don't need you telling me who I am. You don't know me personally. I do not have to explain myself or who I work for on a public forum. I do this for personal reasons. I have taken the opinions of the many professionals posted in this thread and agreed with them. What I have not done is take the words of the people who say that other people's opinions don't matter because this is a "hobbyist forum," and our contributions are meaningless.
I'm not the one who initially stated that a "measuring contest" is happening here. It was mentioned in post #34, so take that up with
@buddrousa. Not me. I also keep replying to this thread to point out the facts of this system and county. Ofc everyone thinks they know EXACTLY how Putnam County Operates and is spreading rumors about how they are attempting to "revamp an existing radio system using bandaids and poor ideas" and expecting "someone to carry three radios.". I'm not an expert either, and I don't claim to be one. Im just pointing out the facts here.
Apparently, my opinions in this thread mean nothing because I am nothing but a "scanner enthusiast" and don't know anything. I'm feeling a little singled out here, is all I am saying. Take that to mean however you want, but I am not the only bad guy here. I digress.....
