I'd suggest asking the agency for it... If you really "need" it then they should provide it no problem.

You "NEED" a scanner capable of decoding NDXN

A good way to find a 2 tone is to use a program that decodes the pitch of the tone that’s what I ended up doing for our local FD

I know the OP. He is associated with the agency. He would like to program a Unication G5 receiver so that it would function like a pager or Uniden scanner in Fire Tone Out for that agency.

If EMS is NXDN he can’t use a Unication unless they are P25 or analog

For pager alerting? Does NXDN have a tone alerting feature? They may use NXDN for voice traffic, but how to they alert their crews of a dispatch?

There no valid FCC license for 155.16 NXDN in Nelson county. I'm guessing they still page on 155.16 NFM, then switch to NXDN for voice traffic on that same freq.

Nelson EMS pages over and responds on NXDN last I checked which was about 6 months ago. Not all Fire Departments are NXDN, most still use analog paging and dispatch.

I just wonder if one of those analog paging tones is EMS. I've never heard of an NXDN pager. I suppose an NXDN radio could have an alerting feature for tones. I'm not too familiar with NXDN features.

NCEMS pages out on NXDN.
NCEMS uses NXDN for voice communications.

Yep, guitar tuning apps are a good way to get tones.
