I need some help with anyone who knows the dispatch tones for PBCFR stations. More specifically, I would like the tones for the West Boca stations (55, 53, 57, and 54).

Also, is there a Bat 5 long tone that alerts the entire Batalion?

Finally, what is my best option if I'd like to be alerted to all of these stations? I know there are scanners being produced that can alert, but can they take more than one pair of tones?

Thanks a lot for any info!

I'm not sure if you'll get your info here or not as your seeking some real specific stuff for one corner of the county...so if you don't get the info you seek here you might narrow your scope by posting your inquiry on the SEFLORIDA board on YahooGroups. Those folks are mostly all in that neck of the woods.

Uniden has been putting the "Fire Tone Out" [FTO] feature in their latest line of scanners. I don't know about the other models, but I have a BCD-396T and it has programming slots for up to ten FTO settings. It allows you to program the sequential (2-tone) freqs (in Hz) and duration (in msec). But I believe that you can only put the radio on standby for one of the programmed tone settings at a time...not a whole group of them.

There's also a SCANNERTECH forum in YahooGroups that had a freq counter utility that would capture tones off the air. Only problem with it is that you have to sit there and watch it while you listen to the scanner and write down the tones you want when you hear your stations paged. Too bad it doesn't log them to a file. Someone might know of another utility that would be better suited to capturing/logging tone info off the air...I don't know.
Good Luck.
