Fireground 1 45.90 173.8

45.60 is Mendham Boro and Township EMS / FD dispatch / ops frequency now.

I believe there may be some time that they will be on both?

Already in place. This was done at the request of Sussex County to have them vacate the Sussex Fire channel since Morris County is dispatching them.

One correction. Paging is 45.60 as stated.

Ops is 45.90 (old Sheriff 1 channel)

Fireground is 45.74.


Mt. Arlington will be moving to same freqs in near future.

The only source I have is the memo from the Fire Chief. So, perhaps he was wrong, I have no way to corroborate.

Netcong is still being dispatched off of 46.100 too. They had 2 fire alarms at 100 Jenny Lynne St and heard it on my 46.100 pager. Not sure why they aren't totally off the channel. I am trying to figure out the difference. I think that Morris Cnty Comm monitors the Ops and not fireground but not sure...

I think the fire chief said one of the siren decoders hasn't had the frequency changed yet. That would explain why paging is going over both frequencies (45.60 and 46.10)

Fire Ops is the frequency they use to connunicate with the Comm Center enroute to the fire and the freq the IC uses to talk to the COmm Center at the fire.

Fireground is a direct channel they use between units at the fire so they don't tie up the ops channels. The Ops channel will be shared with opther departments.

Tonight 8-13-07, heard Mt.Arlington FD and EMS 83 daily test on 45.60.

Yes, Mt Arlington paging has been going over 45.60 and 46.10 for a few months now.

Mt. Arlington was dispatch on 45.12 for FD and EMS. The FG was 46.10 for them.
