If the price is right, than I would certainly consider it as a secondary or tertiary receiver.

Display in the video looks nicer then the pictures.

Just a shame they put the "0" in the wrong place, but still not as wrong as on most CCR ;)

Strange it is like they don't want to sell in USA . No P25 , 470 Mhz limitation .
Not very wideband. Like to see something from Alinco to compete with the R30 only with full digital coverage. Haven't bought an Alinco since my DJ-11X which is still a nice radio.

The frequency range (30-470MHz) of DJ-X100 is actually enough to cover commercial radios in Japan. P25 is used mainly by US forces in Japan and a few government agencies with encryptions. TETRA is mainly used at airports in Japan.

DJ-X100 reportedly has better descrambling functions than AR-DV1/10. The price is said to be 70,000JPY slightly cheaper than the current market price of IC-R30.

I really like the idea of having more options in the scanner market. I applaud the efforts and I do enjoy the aesthetics, but I have to agree; Tetra, P25 and dPMR are definitely needed for a 2023 scanner..

I must say I do like the color changeable background on the display. Not a true wideband receiver sans medium/shortwave and anything above 470mhz though
